Economic processes are constantly changing. It is therefore important for decision-makers to remain open to the issues that will shape the future and find answers today to tomorrow's realities. Alternative drive systems and changes affecting Germany's small and medium-sized businesses are key topics driving industrial development. These were the main themes of the third Industry Forum, held with DTO's involvement in Neuss on 10 October.
After a welcome drink, Dorothea Dietsch, the evening's moderator, and Nils Tychewicz, Managing Director of DTO, welcomed around 80 executives who had accepted the exclusive invitation. Reinhard Houben, economic policy spokesperson for the FDP parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, delivered a welcome address. Three expert presentations provided the basis for discussion and food for thought. Dr. Lothar Schutz, Managing Director of Dr. Schutz Group, opened the presentations with ‘Smart solutions for saving resources in German industry’. Michael Arnold, Head of Advanced Development at enders GmbH, inspired the audience with ‘Thermal management systems for electric commercial vehicles and the involvement of enders/B&R’. Josef Graubmann, Managing Director of Ymer Technology GmbH, then offered practical insights with ‘Thermal management systems for electric commercial vehicles and the path towards them from the perspective of a medium-sized company’. Alongside the expert presentations, event partners CzechInvest, enders GmbH, Rakez and DTO gave brief introductions. Afterwards, participants enthusiastically discussed their impressions and insights, made new contacts and rounded off the evening with a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
