On October 10th, five qualified HR leaders and industry experts gathered at the Fire & Ice Hotel in Neuss to address current challenges in HR, strategies for talent development, and practical solutions for mid-sized companies. This year’s panel discussion was moderated by André Tischendorf, who highlighted key topics such as internationalization, the optimization of recruitment processes, and the impact of demographic changes.
Stefanie Hoffmeister, CEO of Hoffmeister GmbH, presented innovative approaches to emphasize the strategic importance of personnel development. She placed a particular focus on the need to overcome obstacles to the long-term retention of female leaders. Dr. Ariane Asselborn, Senior HR Executive, enriched the discussion with valuable insights into the positioning of mid-sized companies in the job market, highlighting the crucial role of flexible working models in attracting and retaining top talent. An equally relevant issue was raised by Sven Bratz, CEO of Hotset GmbH, who explored the significant question of what opportunities and risks small and medium-sized enterprises face in the global competition for top talent.
In addition, Raphael Eckert, Country Manager of GS Yuasa Battery Germany GmbH, and Katrin Thieme-Wagner, CEO of Peras GmbH, provided further forward-looking insights into HR development and the importance of fostering a positive work culture. These important insights are essential for companies that want to remain competitive in a changing global landscape.
